2015 Recording Archives

When I ended my relationship with a dance-pop recording label so that I could be authentically me as an artist, I began recording songs with a live band of professional musicians at Bryan Adams’ Warehouse Studio, located in Vancouver, BC. Although I am no longer actively promoting these songs, they have landed film and TV placements, and I am happy to share my past music so that you may hear how I have evolved as an artist through the years. As such, below I am sharing select songs from my extended playlist of 2015.

Please note that “Ghost” is re-recorded in my most recent album, and that my producer even copied and pasted my high notes from this earlier recording because my voice has not changed much! My co-writer Chris jokingly told me that it sounds like I am singing “sharks and mice” in one of the song’s lyrics, though I am actually singing “shards of ice.” As well, “Never Leave” is a song I wrote for my Grandfather, who was a physician from Calgary, AB, after he passed away in prior months.
